- Kacau atas api sederhana sampai mendidih sampai hampir melimpah
- Perlahankan api dan biarkan sampai cecair kurang dan minyak naik
- Basuh beras (xyah rendam) dan masukkan ke dalam periuk
- Kacau atas api kuat sampai semua cecair sudah diserap
- TIP: Buat satu garisan panjang. Jika beras tidak bercantum semula, itu tandanya pulut telah separuh masak
- Tutup api dan biarkan sejuk
- Potong bahagian batang. Jangan potong banyak sangat sbb taknak daun tu koyak.
- Sediakan bahan. Letak 1-2 sudu pulut atas daun (tgk saiz daun tu)
- Gulung daun dari atas, kepit kedua2 hujung daun dan lipat!
- Kukus selama 40 minit dan siap!
